Trevor is upset when he loses his toy boat after a picnic by a stream. The family go looking for it the next day following the river all the way down to the sea. Still they don't find it but Trveor decides to make his own instead.

The Flying Fox series are meant to be slightly educational, based on aspects of the National Curriculum. In this case I was concentrating on the themes of the water cycle and recycling of rubbish. It was a fun book to do and my last for Random House. At least for the time being. The hardback version was published by Heinemann.
